Darrell Croson

Hello,  my name is Darrell Croson, and I serve in the role of Account Manager for Virginia Business Systems in the Roanoke, Virginia, area.  

There are several things I really like about working for Virginia Business Systems. First, is the people on our team; the depth of knowledge each of them brings to his/her role is phenomenal.   So many here have tenures of decades and have developed a breathe of knowledge that is so helpful to our customers and to me. Second, VBS makes me proud to go out and meet with customers-- I can present solutions to their office challenges knowing I have an expert team to back up our commitment of providing the highest quality products and services. Third, I really enjoy the camaraderie I have with the members on our team. We are like family; we care about each others' lives.  We are always there to assist each other at work and outside of work. Last but not least, I enjoy getting to know both our customers and potential new customers. Meeting new people and getting to know about their lives and business challenges is one of the best parts of my day.  However, the very best part is when I can listen to their concerns, challenges, and needs and offer solutions with full confidence that no one in this field can offer those solutions and services as well as Virginia Business Systems.

When not busy serving my customers and meeting potential new customers, you can find me on my farm at Smith Mountain Lake either working on the restoration of a 250 year old farm,  driving draft horses around the lake, or entertaining friends and family lakeside.
